HWS, 2 Handheld wire diameter gaugeIt is a portable optical micrometer used for non-contact measurement of wires, cables, and other similar products.
It was developed by Aeroel using LED and CCD technology, using two cross arranged linear sensors that can automatically compensate for positioning errors (under professional application).
Due to the use of a powerful microcontroller, the caliper has linearization and compensation functions, thereby achieving maximum accuracy throughout the entire measurement range, regardless of whether the wire is accurately positioned.
Press the trigger to start measuring, which only takes a few seconds to complete. The display screen will interactively guide the operator to place the wire in the effective measurement area and display the measurement results.
All measurement data is saved in the scanner's memory, including date, time, and device number: the data can be downloaded to any PC through an integrated Wi Fi or USB cable.
Through Wi Fi, measurement values can be visualized and collected in real-time, and the trend of cable diameter can be displayed graphically.
The power supply charges the battery through the USB interface; When the caliper is continuously turned on, the battery power can be maintained for about 4 hours.
The caliper can be installed on the equipment using a specialized bracket. There is a label on the bracket used to identify the equipment and read by the caliper during measurement.
