HVFE40A1G1B80 is a German KRACHT HVFE series pilot operated sliding piston pressure limiting valve (with electromagnetic pilot control, different from the pure mechanical HV series), used for overpressure protection and remote electromagnetic control pressure relief in hydraulic/lubrication systems.

3、 Working principle (electromagnetic pilot+main slide valve)
Electromagnetic control: When the coil is powered on, the pilot valve core moves and opens the pilot oil circuit; The coil loses power, the pilot tan spring resets, and the pilot oil circuit is closed.
Overpressure protection: When the system pressure is ≥ 80 bar, the pilot valve opens first, creating a pressure difference between the upper and lower chambers of the main valve core, which pushes the main valve core to open and quickly release pressure, protecting the system.
Reset: When the pressure drops below the set value or the coil loses power, the pilot valve closes and the main valve core resets under the action of the spring, and the oil circuit returns to normal.

6、 Selection and installation points
Confirm that the system pressure is ≤ 160 bar and the flow rate is ≤ 350 L/min.
The medium is mineral oil/synthetic hydraulic oil, with a temperature range of -20~80 ℃.
It is recommended to install vertically (with the adjusting screw facing upwards) to facilitate the discharge of air from the pilot chamber and avoid cavitation
Hydraulic oil needs to be filtered (recommended β 10 ≥ 75) to prevent valve core jamming.
Ensure waterproof sealing of electrical wiring to ensure reliable operation of the electromagnetic pilot.
