The structural dimensions of the tank are usually designed based on the volume, pressure rating, and inlet and outlet pipe diameter of the gas storage tank. Due to the medium being compressed air, the design temperature inside the storage tank is generally 60 ℃, and the pressure depends on the user's process.

The diameter of the safety valve for the gas storage tank depends on the pressure and volume of the tank body, as well as the hourly flow rate of compressed air inside the tank. The diameter and orientation of the compressed air inlet and outlet depend on the volume of the tank body, the hourly flow rate of compressed air, and the process layout. Before placing a specific order, the diameter and orientation of the equipment will be jointly agreed upon by the customer's process department and Yongtong's technical department.

Gas storage tanks mainly have the following functions: buffering, cooling, water removal, and energy storage. When air passes through a storage tank, high-speed airflow collides with the tank wall, causing it to converge and rapidly drop in temperature inside the tank. This liquefies a large amount of water vapor, thereby removing a large amount of water and oil

If the customer has high requirements for oil content, it is recommended to equip two rear filters (precision filter+activated carbon filter); Some special industries (such as food, medicine, electronics, etc.) even require the installation of adsorption dryers and absolute filters.

Attention to the use of gas storage tanks：

1. There is a drainage outlet at the bottom of the gas storage tank, and under normal circumstances, water needs to be drained from the bottom every half month. When draining water, the air compressor should be turned off as the instrument is in a gas free state. However, since the draining time is fast, there is no need to turn off the air compressor. In general, there is no significant water flow discharged from the gas storage tank, so it is sufficient to open the drain valve for about one minute every two weeks.
