Traditional gas analysis and testing use chemical analysis methods to analyze and determine the various components in coal gas. The operation process is relatively complex and requires manual sampling of the gas for analysis in the laboratory. The operator's operational skills have a significant impact on the accuracy of the analysis; Only single component detection and analysis can be carried out one by one, without multiple input and signal processing functions. It takes a long time to perform one analysis and is difficult to reflect real-time working condition information. Thermal conductivity gas analyzers have the characteristics of simple structure, small size, low price, fast response, and easy maintenance, but can only analyze the content of a single component in coal gas. Infrared spectroscopy technology gas analyzer has high accuracy and sensitivity, wide measurement range, fast response speed, good selectivity, good stability and reliability, can achieve simultaneous measurement of multiple segments and components of gas, and can continuously analyze and automatically control. But it cannot analyze symmetric structures, non-polar diatomic molecules, and single atom molecular gases. Gas chromatography analyzer has the characteristics of high separation efficiency, low sample consumption, ability to perform multi-component analysis, high analysis accuracy, and long calibration cycle. Its disadvantages are high price and high requirements for sample quality.
