Overview

GST 4FF (GST Tag) agarose purification resin derived from Schistosoma japonicum (GST) is a commonly used fusion tag in the design and expression of recombinant proteins in genetic engineering. After fusion with GST, the recombinant protein not only improves stability and solubility, but also brings great convenience to downstream separation and purification. The molecular weight of GST is approximately 26 kDa, and it has excellent affinity for reduced glutathione (GSH). Therefore, immobilized GSH can be used for one-step affinity purification of GST fusion proteins.
