Frozen embedding agent

OCT frozen section embedding agent is a water-soluble mixture of polyethylene glycol and polyvinyl alcohol, which is widely used in immunohistochemistry laboratories. Its purpose is to support tissues during frozen section to increase tissue continuity, reduce wrinkles and fragmentation. Also, as the OCT mixture is water-soluble, it is soluble in water during the bleaching process, so background staining will not be added in future staining.

Pre infiltrate the tissue with OCT glue (Opti mm Cutting Temperature Compound), and then perform constant cold box sectioning to improve the quality of the sections. Suggest using cherry blossom OCT frozen section embedding mold as a matching tool.
