working principle
CO2NDIR Non dispersive Infrared Analysis Method
Spectral absorption method indicates that many gas molecules exhibit characteristic absorption in the infrared band. According to Lambert Beer's law, the characteristic absorption intensity is directly proportional to the gas concentration. The THA100 infrared gas analyzer adopts this principle and belongs to the NDIR (non dispersive) infrared gas analysis method. It can be used for continuous analysis of the concentration of a certain gas component to be measured in mixed gases.
O2Electrochemical or paramagnetic oxygen methods
Gas media are magnetized in a magnetic field and exhibit paramagnetism or diamagnetism depending on the type of gas. O2, NO, NO2, etc. are paramagnetic gases, while H2, N2, CO2, CH4, etc. are diamagnetic gases. The volume magnetization of oxygen is much higher than that of other gases, so the paramagnetic properties of oxygen can be used to analyze its concentration.
