Overview

The standard for Escherichia coli analyzer is based on "HJ1001-2018 Determination of Total Coliforms, Fecal Coliforms, and Escherichia coli in Water Quality - Enzyme Substrate Method" and "GB5750-2006 Standard Test Methods for Drinking Water". The recommended methods for detection include drinking water, source water, bottled water, reclaimed water, secondary water supply, pipeline water, wastewater, food water, livestock water, medical water, etc

Product Details

Escherichia coli analyzerStandard basis:
HJ1001-2018 Determination of Total Coliforms, Fecal Coliforms, and Escherichia coli in Water Quality by Enzyme Substrate Method
Recommended methods included in GB5750-2006 Standard Test Methods for Drinking Water

Water quality coliform enzyme substrate detection system:
It consists of four parts: LK-2014S programmable quantitative sealing machine, 51 or 97 well quantitative detection disk, 100mL quantitative bottle, and enzyme substrate detection reagent. Scope of water sample testing: drinking water, source water, bottled water, reclaimed water, secondary water supply, pipeline water, wastewater, food water, livestock water, medical water, etc.
This detection method uses Escherichia coli to produce β - galactosidase to decompose the chromogenic substrate ONPG (Ortho nitrophenyl - β - D-galactopyranoside) to make the culture medium yellow. The principle of Escherichia coli producing β - glucuronidase to break down MUG (4-methyl-membelliferyl - β - glucuronide) and produce fluorescence in the culture medium under 366 nm ultraviolet light is used to qualitatively and quantitatively determine the total coliforms in water, fecal coliforms (heat-resistant coliforms), and Escherichia coli.

Escherichia coli analyzerThe detection method used is widely adopted in developed countries internationally. Compared with the standard detection methods in China, such as multi tube fermentation and membrane filtration, it is simple and fast. Its selective culture medium has the effect of inhibiting miscellaneous bacteria, with low false positives and accurate quantification. Due to the convenience and speed of this method, it can improve efficiency and shorten detection time in daily laboratory testing, and timely report data in emergency monitoring, avoiding major public safety accidents.
