Basic principle:

When measuring the surface roughness of a workpiece, the sensor is placed on the surface to be measured, and the internal driving mechanism of the driver drives the sensor to slide at a constant speed along the measured surface. The sensor senses the roughness of the measured surface through the built-in sharp touch pin. At this time, the roughness of the measured surface of the workpiece causes the touch pin to produce displacement, which changes the inductance of the sensor's inductance coil. As a result, an analog signal proportional to the roughness of the measured surface is generated at the sensor output terminal. After amplification, the signal enters the data acquisition system, and the collected data is digitally filtered and parameter calculated. The measurement results are displayed on the mobile APP, or the selected Ra or Rz values can be displayed on the driver display screen.
