Electrocatalytic equipment for COD removal supports customized wastewater treatment


Electrocatalytic oxidation equipment is an efficient and practical treatment device developed for the current problems of high concentration, difficult to degrade wastewater and biochemical non-compliance. It is mainly used for the treatment of high concentration, high salt, high COD wastewater and the deep treatment of biochemical wastewater. The device utilizes an external power source to conduct an electrochemical reaction between the composite electrode plate and the wastewater in the reactor.

Under the action of an external electric field, the device introduces the treated sewage or liquid into the electrolytic cell. Under the action of current, active groups such as hydroxyl radicals are generated on the surface of the electrode material to oxidize organic matter in the water, decomposing it into carbon dioxide, water, small molecule organic matter, etc., which can reduce COD, ammonia nitrogen, chromaticity, and improve biodegradability in water.

Electrocatalytic oxidation can be applied to the modification and advanced treatment of recalcitrant organic wastewater, and is suitable for advanced treatment of petrochemicals, organic fine chemicals, chemical synthesis pharmaceuticals, pesticides, and intermediates.
