The DC resistance tester for electric motors is mainly used to perform group automatic testing on a large number of portable short-circuit grounding wires and personal protective grounding wires of operating units in accordance with new safety regulations, and automatically determine whether they are qualified or not. Previously, grounding wires were basically not tested, only requiring the square number of different voltage levels. The new safety regulations have put forward technical requirements for grounding wire resistivity, which can scientifically evaluate the comprehensive quality of grounding wire cross-section, material, joint crimping, and whether there is a broken core, in order to accept new grounding wires and scientifically evaluate the usability of grounding wires in use.
