Overview

The electric heating reaction kettle uses an electric heating rod to heat the heat transfer oil in the jacket, quickly raising the heat transfer oil to the corresponding required temperature. Then, the temperature controller controls the electric heating rod to cut off the power and maintain a constant temperature. The temperature control device can also convert the material temperature into an electrical signal through a temperature sensor inserted vertically from the top of the tank, and transmit it to the digital temperature controller on the electric control box through wires to display the temperature of the material in the tank, thereby regulating the temperature of the material. As a heating mixing device, the electric heating reaction kettle is particularly suitable for small-scale, pilot scale, or large-scale production in production units and research institutions without steam heat sources. It is widely used in light industries such as pharmaceuticals, chemicals, fine chemicals, and food additives.

1、 Overview of Electric Heating Reactor

2、 Application of electric heating reactor
Electric heating reaction vessels are widely used in petroleum, chemical, rubber, pesticide, dye, medicine, and food industries as pressure vessels to complete processes such as vulcanization, nitration, hydrogenation, alkylation, polymerization, and condensation.
3、 Structure composition of electric heating reactor
Structure of electric heating reactor: composed of head, cylinder, jacket, heater, agitator, mechanical seal, transmission device, and bracket. The inner surface of the kettle is polished with a mirror finish to ensure no hygiene dead corners. The fully enclosed design ensures that the material is always in a sterile state. The outer surface can be treated with sandblasting, sanding, or cold rolling with natural color matte finish.
Electric heating reaction kettle jacket form: divided into jacket type and outer half tube type. The jacket oil heating type is equipped with a flow guide device. If heating or cooling coils are installed inside the kettle or jacket, the medium can also be introduced into the coils to complete the heating or cooling work.
Electric heating reactor agitator: generally includes paddle type, anchor type, screw type, scraping wall type, etc., to ensure uniform mixing of materials in a short period of time.
Electric heating reaction kettle transmission device: There are ordinary motors, explosion-proof motors, electromagnetic speed regulating motors, frequency converters, etc. Gear reducers are suitable for speeds exceeding 160 revolutions per minute.
Electric heating reactor shaft seal: for ordinary water-cooled packing seal, combined PTFE packing seal, and mechanical seal.
The discharge form of electric heating reaction kettle is divided into ball valve or downward expansion valve.
Installation form of electric heating reaction kettle: It can be installed with hanging ears or floor standing legs.

4、 Maintenance of electric heating reactor
1. Maintenance and safety
(1) It should be strictly operated and used according to the working pressure and temperature marked on the product nameplate to avoid danger.
(2) Strictly follow the regulations on cooling, oil injection, and other aspects in the product manual, and do a good job in equipment maintenance and upkeep.
(3) When using all valves, the valve stem (needle) should be slowly rotated to tightly press the cover to achieve a sealing effect. Do not apply too much force when closing to avoid damaging the sealing surface.
(4) Electrical control instruments should be operated by dedicated personnel and equipped with overload protection facilities according to regulations.
2. Common fault phenomena and causes of reaction kettle
(1) Fault phenomenon: Leakage at the sealing surface. Reason for malfunction: Loose screw thread; Sealing surface damage. Exclusion method: Tighten the screw again; Re grind and polish the sealing surface.
(2) Fault phenomenon: Leakage occurs at the valve. Reason for malfunction: Damage to the valve stem (needle) and valve port sealing surface. Exclusion method: Repair or replace the valve stem (needle) and valve port.
(3) Fault phenomenon: The outer magnet rotates, the inner magnet does not rotate, and the motor current decreases. Reason for malfunction: The temperature inside the kettle rises too high, the cooling cycle is not smooth, and the internal magnetic steel demagnetizes due to high temperature. Hydrogenation reaction leads to cracks in the inner magnetic steel sleeve and expansion of the inner magnetic steel. Exclusion method: Notify the supplier to replace the internal magnetic steel.
(4) Fault phenomenon: Friction noise inside the magnetic coupling transmission. Reason for malfunction: Wear of shaft sleeve and bearing, excessive clearance, and jumping of internal magnetic steel during rotation. Exclusion method: Contact the supplier and replace the bearings and shaft sleeves.
