Design and Performance
EUCHNER safety lock from GermanyCTP-AS can operate directly on the AS-i bus and provide information on door position and lock position for the control system. Information about possible faults within the switch can also be diagnosed directly within the control system.
The mature operations performed on the AS-i security monitor are something that should be done as a matter of course. The electromechanical safety switch can be adjusted from CTP to PL e level without modifying the software of the monitor.

Special code security assessment
Each trigger block has been encoded with advanced encoding (special encoding). The switch only recognizes the initialization trigger block and can also initialize additional trigger blocks.
At any time, the security assessment unit can only recognize the most recently initialized trigger block.
Control of locking electromagnetic coil
The locking electromagnetic coil is controlled through the AS-i interface position D0. In order to achieve safe control of the door lock, it is also necessary to safely connect the auxiliary voltage.
