  1、 Working principle of EDI ultrapure water machine

1. The raw water is diverted through the inlet system, with the main water flowing through the internal channels of the resin membrane module and the auxiliary water flowing along the outer surface of the membrane, playing a role in flushing and removing ions;
2. The filled ion exchange resin effectively adsorbs soluble electrolyte ions in water;
3. Under the drive of an electric field, adsorbed anions migrate towards the anode, while cations move towards the cathode;
4. Cations selectively pass through the cation exchange membrane and enter the concentrated water channel;
5. Anions selectively pass through the anion exchange membrane and enter the concentrated water channel;
6. The concentrated ions are discharged from the system along with some of the wastewater;
7. High purity deionized water is continuously produced from the central area of the resin membrane module.
