4、 Instrument usage instructions
1. JCB6536-01 typeDistillation analyzerAfter opening the box, please check whether the accessories are complete according to the packing list. Then wipe the instrument clean and place it on a flat workbench.
2. Add distilled water to the water bath of the instrument. There is an overflow hole on the back of the instrument. When water flows out from the overflow hole, stop adding.
3. Measure (100 ± 0.5) ml of the temperature adjusted sample using a clean and dry 100ml graduated cylinder, and pour it into a distillation flask. Insert the thermometer into a silicone rubber stopper (which is specially provided by our company) and install it on the flask. The mercury ball of the thermometer should be level with the lower edge of the flask outlet. Select a distillation flask support plate with a diameter of 50mm based on the characteristics of the corresponding group of test samples and place it on an electric furnace (this model of instrument uses a 50mm diameter support plate for heating). Then, install the flask on the electric furnace and adjust its height by twisting the lifting table to ensure that the flask can be vertically placed on the electric furnace. Also, ensure that the silicone stopper on the flask branch pipe fits tightly with the condenser tube. And place the measuring cylinder properly.
4. Connect the power supply, set the temperature of the water bath according to the requirements of the experiment, and turn on the cycle to maintain a uniform temperature of the water bath. Please refer to the attachment for the operation method of the temperature control meter.
5. Turn on the electric furnace switch and control the temperature of the furnace through the voltage adjustment knob to heat the sample. When heating the sample, record the temperature at which the first drop of distilled liquid flows out as the initial boiling point.
6. Move the graduated cylinder so that the inner wall of the cylinder contacts the end of the condenser tube, allowing the distillate to flow down along the cylinder wall. The heating temperature can be controlled by adjusting the pressure regulating knob, thereby controlling the distillation speed.
7. Observe and record the final boiling point or dry point as required, and stop heating.
8. At the end of the experiment, turn off the electric furnace switch first, then turn the voltage adjustment knob counterclockwise to the terminal, turn on the cooling fan to cool down the heating chamber, and wait for the flask thermometer to display close to room temperature before carefully removing the flask. And turn off the power of the instrument.
5、 Precautions
1. This instrument should be reliably grounded before use.
2. During the sampling process of this instrument, be careful not to touch the inner wall of the flask with the thermometer to avoid affecting the test results.
3. If the rubber plug loses its elasticity after a long period of use, it should be replaced in a timely manner.
4. Keep the instrument clean, prevent oil samples and other dirt from splashing on the instrument, and do not let water or moisture enter the electronic control part.
5. The instrument power supply should be well grounded to ensure the safety of operators.
6. When moving the instrument, be careful not to lift the condenser tube.
7. Never dry burn the heater (do not lack water in the cold bath).
8. When the instrument malfunctions, it should be handled by professionals and should not be disassembled at will.
