Overview

The dissolved oxygen respiration measurement system 782 can measure the concentration of dissolved oxygen in water in real time, support automatic compensation for temperature and salinity, and ensure data accuracy. Calculate the metabolic activity of microorganisms through oxygen consumption rate (OUR) to evaluate the efficiency of wastewater treatment or the inhibitory effect of pollutants on microorganisms.

Product Details

The 782 dissolved oxygen respiration measurement system is a professional equipment that integrates dissolved oxygen (DO) monitoring and microbial respiration rate analysis, designed specifically for water quality analysis, environmental monitoring, sewage treatment, and scientific research experiments. Its core function is to evaluate the biochemical activity of water or the biological toxicity of pollutants by real-time monitoring of dissolved oxygen concentration and oxygen consumption kinetics.

Typical application scenarios
1. Wastewater Treatment and Optimization
Monitor the respiratory activity of activated sludge, dynamically adjust the aeration rate, and reduce energy consumption (energy savings can reach over 20%).
Detect the toxicity of industrial wastewater and prevent toxic substances (such as heavy metals and organic pollutants) from impacting the biochemical system.
2. Environmental water assessment
Monitoring of dissolved oxygen profiles in rivers and lakes to evaluate the effectiveness of eutrophication or black and odorous water treatment.
Study the oxygen exchange process at the water sediment interface.
3. Aquaculture management
Real time warning of insufficient dissolved oxygen to prevent suffocation of fish; Optimize the operation strategy of aerators to reduce breeding costs.
4. Research and Toxicology
Research on microbial metabolic mechanisms (such as determination of nitrification/denitrification rates).
Ecotoxicity testing of chemicals and drugs (based on respiratory inhibition effects).
