Coleparmer economical high-throughput tissue grinder HG-400 (formerly 1600) MiniG

HG-400 MiniG ® It is an economical tissue grinder designed to effectively destroy cell samples by vertically oscillating one to two deep hole plates. This instrument is used to prepare sample tissues for extracting nucleic acids, proteins, and other components by vertically shaking the tissue, steel balls, and buffer in each well of the titration plate. Alternatively, various grinding bottles can be used instead of titration plates.

Separating nucleic acid from a sample requires disrupting the cellular structure of the sample, followed by extraction and subsequent purification of the nucleic acid. Tissue grinding is usually manually performed using a handheld homogenizer, which is not practical for high-throughput screening because manual grinding of tissues is slow, inconsistent, and requires cleaning between samples, which may lead to cross contamination. MiniG ® Provide consistent sample preparation for one to two titration plates or vial trays in one run.

The sample materials that can be prepared include seeds, stems, roots, leaves, and certain animal tissues. Due to MiniG ® Vertical oscillation is very strong, and many seeds and other forms of plant tissue can also be dried and crushed in a titration plate through one to two grinding balls per well.

MiniG ® Easy and fast operation: Fix the titration plate or small bottle in the fixture, and close the cabinet cover. Set the running time and speed and press the START button. When the operation is completed, the lid is lifted and the small bottle is released and removed. (The running time is usually less than two minutes)
