Overview

This cold filter point tester is designed and manufactured in accordance with the requirements of the industry standard SH/T 0248 "Determination of Cold Filter Points for Diesel and Civil Heating Oil" of the People's Republic of China. It is suitable for measuring the cold filter points of distillate fuels, including fuels containing flow improvers or other additives, using the determination method specified in SH/T 0248 and other devices such as cold baths.

Product Details

1Cold filter point testerMain technical indicators and parameters

1. Working power supply: AC (220 ± 10%) V 50Hz.

2. Extraction pressure: U-tube differential pressure gauge 1961Pa (200H20±1mmH20

3. Test cup: 45ml dedicated test tube.

4. Filter: Made of brass material, with a mesh size of 45um (330 mesh) for the filter screen.

6. Whole machine power consumption: ≤ 150W.

7. Dimensions: 550×250×400(Length x Width x Height).

8. Net weight of the instrument: 7kg.

1. Overall structure and connections

This instrument is a new type of integrated structure instrument, with the main structure shown in Figure 1.

U-shaped differential pressure gauge:During the experiment, it is used to observe the negative pressure and maintain a water level of (200 ± 1) mmH2O.

Flowmeter:Before the experiment, adjust the suction flow rate to 250ml/min without load, and do not adjust it during the experiment.

monitor:Timer display, with a maximum display value of 60.0 seconds, used for real-time time display.

Filter switch:Press this switch, the suction switch light will turn on, the timer will start working, and the suction will begin. When the timer reaches 60 seconds, the buzzer will sound to remind the user that the suction time is up. Turn off this switch, the suction switch light will turn off, and the suction will stop.

Water inlet:Inject water into the U-shaped tube through this port, and when the instrument is working, the water injection port is connected to the atmosphere.

Pressure reducing bottle 2:The bottle contains air.

Pressure reducing bottle 1:Add water to the water level mark (220mm ± 1mm).

Trial cup:Built in filters, samples, etc.

(II)Cold filter point testerOperation instructions

1. Water injection into U-shaped tube:

Connect the provided syringe to a thin latex tube and clean it by suctionThe clear water is slowly injected from the water inlet until it reaches the U-shaped pipe

The water level of the edge (the concave plane of the water surface) is all at 100The location;

Note: First, fill the U-shaped tube with water up to 100mm from both ends, and then pack the pressure reducing bottle with water. Otherwise, the pressure difference between the two ends of the U-shaped tube may cause uneven water column.

2. Connect the filter assembly as shown in Figure 6 and Figure 7, install it in the test tube, and place the test tube into the test tube positioning rack.

It should be noted that:

The connection between the suction filter assembly and the suction tube is a hard connection and requires great care to prevent damage to the suction tube.

The bottom of the suction filter assembly is equipped with a filter, which contains a filter screen. The filter screen needs to be kept clean.

3. Install the instrument as shown in Figure 1 and add water to the pressure reducing bottle 1 until it reaches 220At a distance of ± 1mm, pay attention to tightly sealing the bottle mouth with the pressure reducing bottle stopper (sealing grease can be applied). When inserting the pressure reducing bottle stopper into each bent pipe and straight pipe, seal it (sealing grease can be applied), and then connect the working power supply.

4. Turn on the power switch (filter switch not turned on) to stabilize the pressure difference of the U-shaped tube differential pressure gauge at 1961 Pa (200 Pa)㎜±1mmH2O)On the scale, it is 200H2The position of O.

5. Turn on the filter switch, adjust the flow meter to achieve a no-load flow rate of 250ml ± 17ml/min, and then turn off the filter switch. Do not adjust again during the experiment.

6. Pour the filtered 45ml sample into a clean and dry test tubeGo to the engraved line and placePlace the filter assembly into the test tube, paying attention to the filter assembly reaching the bottom of the test tube, and the thermometer liquid ball reaching 1.5 ± 0.2mm from the bottom of the test tube (as shown in Figure 6).

7. Place the test tube into the cold trap of the supporting refrigeration equipment. When the filtration temperature is met, press the filtration switch and the instrument will automatically start timing.

8. When the sample reaches the scale line of the volumetric flask within 60 seconds of filtration, press the filtration switch to stop the filtration. The sample in the suction tube naturally flows back to the test tube, and the experiment continues.

9. Repeat the filtration operation once for every 1 ℃ decrease in sample temperature.

10. Until the buzzer sounds at the end of the 60 second timer, if the sample has not reached the scale mark of the suction tube, or if the sample in the suction tube cannot naturally flow back into the test tube under the cut-off pressure, record the temperature at the beginning of this filtration as the cold filtration point of the sample.

Note: A small number of samples may exhibit irregular inhalation phenomena, namely the inhalation specimens recorded in the test (specimen filling)The specimen with a full suction tube unexpectedly shortened, and continuing the test would result in an extension of time until reaching the 60 second limit.

11. Follow the same steps and conduct one or several parallel experiments again, and record the test results for use in the test report.

12. After the experiment is completed, clean the utensils for use in the next experiment.
