In addition, the port adjacent to the main well ('Port ') provides ample space for the insertion of the pipette tip, facilitating easy replacement of cell culture medium and sampling in various experiments (such as drug permeability testing), avoiding the risk of cell damage and contamination. It also supports automated experiments and TEER measurements.

Cell Culture Plugin Partner BoardBy utilizing various notches designed at the orifice, different types of cell culture inserts (transwells) are fixed in place, ensuring that users can tilt the culture plate and inserts for manual or automatic operation.The culture medium can be replaced and sampled from the plate through the port adjacent to the main well ('Port ') without lifting the plug. This port also provides sufficient space for the electrodes of TEER measuring instruments.After cell culture treatment, the bottom of the well (including the port area) can provide a culture area equivalent to that of a traditional 24 well plate (187.5 mm ²), allowing for co culture in the chamber and at the bottom of the plate.The steps on the hole wall can reduce the liquid level rise driven by capillary between the hole and the chamber. In addition, the grooves on the pore wall help to expel the culture medium.
