Overview

In response to the difficulties in processing high-speed steel rolling rolls, the XK8450 CNC rolling mill is a new type of CNC rolling groove processing machine developed and researched based on our company's XK9350 series, after fully studying and analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of similar products at home and abroad. This machine tool is suitable for processing threaded steel rollers with a diameter less than 650mm and a length less than 2500mm. It can automatically process various specifications of crescent grooves and equal height rib grooves for spiral steel rollers with diameters ranging from 6 to 50 (fully complying with GB1499-2018 standard).

This machine tool is suitable for processing threaded steel rollers with a diameter less than 650mm and a length less than 2500mm. It can automatically process various specifications of crescent grooves and equal height rib grooves for spiral steel rollers with diameters ranging from 6 to 50 (fully complying with GB1499-2018 standard). The machine tool automatically cuts crescent shaped grooves with different rotation directions and arbitrary helix angles according to customer requirements, and can divide or space the rolling mill circumference equally (or unevenly); Product specifications, grades, trademarks, and other markings can be automatically engraved at any position on the rolling mill. It is also possible to perform arbitrary groove, text, and marking processing on non-standard rollers according to user requirements. To achieve a high degree of automation, outstanding functions, and multi-purpose use of one machine.

This series of machine tools all adopt an integral 4-track bed structure, and the reference rail adopts integral ultrasonic quenching, which highlights the high rigidity, high precision, and stability of the whole machine. And it adopts a fully protective structure.

The lateral movement guide rail of the flying knife milling head component is supported by high-precision heavy-duty linear cylindrical rolling guide rail pairs. Ensure high precision and rigidity requirements for feed motion during flying knife machining.

The workpiece spindle transmission adopts a gapless connection method (patent number: ZL2013 2 0115152.7), which maximizes the transmission accuracy and controls the reverse clearance.

The spiral flying milling head and swing carving milling head are arranged in parallel, and the centralized control operator only needs to select a simple machining mode on the CNC system. The machine tool automatically realizes function conversion without manual mechanical conversion.

The flying knife shaft transmission chain uses 6-level precision grinding gears to ensure that the tool path fully executes the program instructions of the CNC system, eliminating hidden defects such as groove misalignment and tool breakage caused by poor transmission chain accuracy and rigidity. Especially in the processing of small-sized tungsten carbide roller rings, its superior performance is highlighted

The flying knife spindle adopts a large-diameter H40 spindle end, which can meet the requirement of machining 60mm equal height ribs.

The vertical and horizontal linear motion axes of the machine tool are driven by high-precision ball screw transmission, avoiding the characteristics of inaccurate gear and rack transmission. Under the automatic control of the numerical control system, it is possible to achieve automatic movement and precise positioning from one hole pattern to the next.
