CMM 500- Power Bar Flow Meter for Compressor Efficiency Testing
CMM 500 is a new type of reference flowmeter developed specifically for high-precision measurement of compressor delivery and compressed air billing, meeting all the requirements of ISO 5167-3 for dimensional accuracy and surface quality. It can be directly installed behind the compressor to measure the consumption of moist compressed air, as well as dry compressed air. The main advantages over many other measurement systems are higher pressure differentials, lower pressure losses, and shorter inlet and outlet sections.
Meanwhile, low voltage loss is the main advantage over many other measurement methods. Large measurement range and measurement span1: 130, measurement accuracy<0.5% (from 0.2 Qmax to Qmax). The compact and compact design, as well as the use of long-term stable and high-precision stainless steel diaphragm pressure sensors, are the basis for accurately measuring the consumption and flow of working volume, standard volume, pressure, pressure difference, and temperature in a measuring device. With the help of valve blocks, maintenance or repairs can be carried out on-site at any time, even during pressurized operation (zero point calibration, condensate discharge, sensor replacement for calibration).

For differential pressure measurement, two separate pipelines lead to Differential pressure measurement unit. A pressure connection (pressure1) Located at the mouth of the Venturi tube, the second pressure connection is located at the outlet of the Venturi tube (pressure 2). When there is no flow, the pressure at the inlet and outlet is the same. Once there is traffic, the traffic in the contraction area will increase. Meanwhile, static pressure 2 will decrease. The pressure at the inlet is higher than the pressure at the outlet. Pressure difference is the ratio of velocity, and therefore also the ratio of volumetric flow rate. The higher the flow rate, the lower the pressure in the Venturi tube, and the greater the pressure difference. Two additional precision sensors (temperature and absolute pressure) are used to calculate mass or standard volume flow rate according to DIN 1343 or ISO 1217 compressed air standards. The design of the Venturi tube ensures a large measurement range (>1:130) while minimizing pressure loss.

In the development process, we focus on practicality and, most importantly, ease of maintenance. Thanks to the multifunctional valve block, all necessary maintenance and repair work can be safely carried out without the need to remove the pressurized Venturi tube.
