The liquid level measurement device adopts AT89C51 microcontroller as the main controller. 1AT89C51 is a low-power, high-performance 8-bit CMOS microcontroller with 4K bytes of Flash Memory. This device is manufactured using ATMEL high-density non-volatile storage technology and is compatible with the industrial standard MCS-51 series microcontroller instruction system and pin safety.

DS12887 is a power down protection memory designed and produced by DALLAS company in the United States. It has a real-time clock and contains 14 bytes of clock and control registers, as well as 114 bytes of general-purpose RAM1 to store the cumulative amount of traffic. The management computer can view the cumulative amount at any time. The 8-bit binary number of the photoelectric encoder is read into AT89C511 through the P1 port, and the liquid level measurement accuracy can reach 0.5%.

6-digit LED display, AT89C51 outputs display data in serial mode, and can alternately display cumulative quantity and current liquid level value. Reserved key socket, which can be used to set the zero and full liquid level after inserting the keyboard. The communication port adopts the RS-485 bus standard to communicate with the management computer in the control room, receive commands from the management computer, and transmit the current liquid level value, cumulative amount, and time.
