The thermal MEMS sensor directly located in the airflow can achieve high-speed response of JI. A direct acting B ü rkert proportional valve as the actuator ensures good response sensitivity. As an electrical interface, it provides both analog standard signals and fieldbus. Type 8741- Gas Mass Flow Controller (MFC)/Gas Mass Flow Meter (MFM)

Type description

The 8741 gas mass flow controller (MFC)/flowmeter (MFM) is suitable for a wide range of applications and can be equipped with industrial Ethernet, analog, or fieldbus interfaces. The B ü rkert system bus (b ü S) version based on CANopen is suitable for integration into existing CANopen networks or combined with ME43 fieldbus gateways to integrate into all common industrial standards of industrial Ethernet or fieldbus. The latter approach is very suitable for applications with multiple control objects. Up to 32 MFCs/MFMs can be connected to the fieldbus gateway. The ME43 model can transmit internal CANopen based communication to industrial Ethernet or fieldbus standards. The mass flow controller/flowmeter can switch between b ü S and CANopen communication at any time. The 8741 model can be configured as MFM or MFC as needed. The device can store up to four calibration curves. Thermal MEMS sensors located directly in the airflow have very fast response times. The B ü rkert direct acting proportional valve, as an actuator, ensures high reaction sensitivity. The integrated PI controller ensures that MFC has table crossing control characteristics.
