one.Introduction to the purpose of biological microscope calibration device:

5、 Calibration method for biological microscope:
1. SY-XWJ-8 typeBiological microscope calibration and verification device (multiplier)Before calibration, inspect the appearance, interaction between various parts, and optical system of the instrument. The moving and rotating parts should be flexible, without excessive looseness, tightness, or abrupt jumping. The field of view should have uniform illumination, clear imaging, and no factors such as mold, shadow, color difference, or field curvature that affect measurement.A microscope with photography and videography functions should have a clean and uniformly bright field of view on its display screen, without any shadows, spots, reflective spots, or other factors that may affect observation; The images observed through the eyepiece and the display screen should be synchronized and have a basic orientation.
2. Calibrate the magnification error of the microscope objective lens
For microscope objectives with detachable eyepieces, measure the magnification using a 10 × crosshair eyepiece and a standard glass ruler. Firstly, adjust the visual acuity of the microscope eyepiece to the O position, place the standard glass ruler on the stage of the microscope being tested, adjust the distance between the image plane of the objective lens, so that the standard glass ruler forms a clear image on the eyepiece ruler. Remove the eyepiece of the microscope, install a 10 × cross dividing eyepiece, and the total magnification tester of the microscope reads the spacing image of the standard glass ruler on the eyepiece ruler. Calculate the magnification of the objective lens according to formula (1).
3. Magnification difference between the left and right systems of binocular microscope
Without disassembling the microscope eyepiece, follow the steps in 6.2.1.2 to measure the magnification of the left and right observation systems separately. Calculate the magnification of the two observation systems according to formula (1), and the difference between them is the calibration result.
4. For microscopes with non removable eyepieces, measure the magnification of the objective lens using a multiplier and a standard glass ruler. Place the magnifying glass on the eyepiece, adjust the visual acuity of the microscope eyepiece to the O position, adjust the distance between the image plane of the objective lens, so that the standard glass line ruler forms a clear image on the magnifying glass line ruler, read the indication of the corresponding line on the line ruler and the standard glass line ruler image, calculate the total magnification according to formula (1), and then calculate the magnification of the objective lens according to formula (3). The objective magnification error can also be measured directly on the instrument using the eyepiece with the microscope's built-in scale ruler. The magnification error of the microscope objective is calibrated based on the magnification error of each magnification objective of the microscope.
5. Calibration indication error
According to the different magnification factors of the objective lens, place a standard glass line ruler with a division value of 0.1 mm or 0.01 mm on the worktable, focus until the field of view of the eyepiece is clear, move the worktable, adjust the direction of the standard glass line ruler to be parallel to the scale line of the eyepiece, align the zero mark line of the left end of the scale in the eyepiece with the zero mark line of the standard glass line ruler, observe the * of the marked line on the scale in the eyepiece and the corresponding mark line of the standard glass line ruler, estimate the error value AL on the scale of the eyepiece, and calculate the indication error of the microscope according to formula (4). The measurement of the indication error of the microscope should be carried out at 5 points uniformly distributed throughout the entire length of the eyepiece scale, and the error value should be taken as the calibration result.
6. Deviation of left and right field of view center of binocular microscope
Place the cross reticle on the stage of the biological microscope being tested, with a cross reticle eyepiece installed in the left cylinder, and focus the cross reticle so that the cross at the center of the cross reticle image coincides with the cross center in the cross reticle eyepiece tube. Then place the cross reticle eyepiece from the left cylinder into the right cylinder, observe the position of the cross line image center of the cross reticle on the eyepiece reticle (see Figure 3) in the right cylinder, and read the deviation value from the center of the reticle (top, bottom, left and right outer sides, left and right inner sides) as the calibration result.
