The instrument drives a flat probe with a specified diameter (such as 5mm) to descend at a constant speed and apply a set contact pressure to the adhesive layer on the surface of the sample. After maintaining a preset short period of time, the probe is lifted vertically in reverse at a constant speed to separate from the sample. The force sensor monitors the resistance throughout the separation process and records its peak value. The peak force value is defined as the "initial adhesion" of the sample, scientifically reflecting the adhesive properties exhibited by the material under mild and transient pressure.
