Nowadays, the use of batteries has become very common, and it is increasingly urgent to accurately and quickly detect and maintain batteries. Numerous domestic and international practices have proven that there is no necessary correlation between voltage and capacity, and voltage only reflects the surface parameters of the battery. Electrician IEEE-1188-1996 has established a standard for "regularly testing battery internal resistance to predict battery life" for battery maintenance. The Postal and Telecommunications Product Quality Inspection Center of the Ministry of Information Industry of China has also proposed relevant specifications for battery internal resistance (see YD/T799-2002). The internal resistance of the battery has been identified as a decisive parameter for determining the capacity condition of the battery.

The correlation between internal resistance and capacity is that when the internal resistance of the battery is greater than 25% of the initial value (base value), the battery will not pass the capacity test. When the internal resistance of the battery is greater than twice the initial value, the capacity of the battery will be below 80% of its rated capacity.
This series of battery internal resistance testers is a new testing instrument that can quickly and accurately measure the internal resistance of batteries. It adopts the method of testing with different frequency signals, which solves the problem of power frequency interference during the testing process; New technologies such as high-precision digital frequency selection, high-precision sampling A/D, DDS, and comb filtering are adopted to ensure testing accuracy. This instrument can perform offline/online testing on batteries (by disconnecting the charger, etc.), and can display and record parameters such as voltage and internal resistance of 1-2000 batteries.
Compared with the high current discharge method battery internal resistance tester, this series of battery internal resistance testers is faster, more accurate, can be tested online, has a small size, and does not require a high current discharge device. It is an updated product of the high current battery internal resistance tester.
