BRS-110 Microbial Breather

Basic 4-channel microbial respiration apparatus.

Principle:The finely generated gas turns into bubbles in a BRS container filled with oil. There are two methods for measuring the cumulative volume of gas generated:
Calculate the total amount of gas by fixing the volume of bubbles and multiplying it by the number of bubbles.
The total gas volume is calculated by calculating the volume of each generated bubble, which is determined using the time required for each bubble to pass through low and high sensors (T1, T2).
BRS-110 uses temperature based calibration to ensure accurate gas measurement.
After the measurement is completed, the time interval of gas production/consumption data can be changed by changing the cumulative time in the data conversion.
The measurement resolution (bubble volume) is very small (BRS-110 is 0.03 mL).
BRS-110 can connect up to four devices to one computer and support up to 16 channels.
An incubator or water bath with a magnetic stirrer can be used to maintain water temperature (0-60 ℃).
Bioreactors with volumes of 125, 250, 500, and 1000 mL can be used.
