BOD Wade portable biological oxygen demand detector

The BOD Wade and BOD Wade Pro portable biological oxygen demand detectors can obtain real-time levels of biological oxygen demand (BOD) in water bodies. The instrument measures by detecting tryptophan ultraviolet fluorescence, which is correlated with 5-day biological oxygen demand (BOD5). BOD Wade includes a UviLux tryptophan fluorescence meter from CTG company and a display storage unit Hawk. BOD Reader Pro includes two UviLux tryptophan fluorescence meters and UviLux CDOM fluorescence meters, used to distinguish tryptophan fluorescence in colored dissolved organic matter (CDOM).
UviLux fluorescence meter has industry-leading sensitivity and is optimized for turbidity environments to minimize the impact of turbidity on measurement. The handheld device Hawk is equipped with a color display touch screen, which can view and store data in real time. Hawk can be programmed according to requirements to apply user set standards to measurement data. Hawk is equipped with a GPS receiver that can locate and time stamp data.
