There are many methods for manufacturing water dispersible granules, which can be generally divided into two categories: "wet method" and "dry method". The so-called wet method is to grind the pesticide, auxiliary agent, auxiliary agent, etc. in a sand mill with water as the medium to make suspension agent, and then granulation. The methods include spray drying granulation, mobile bed drying granulation, freeze drying granulation, etc; The so-called dry method refers to the process of grinding pesticides, additives, and adjuvants together using air flow or ultrafine grinding to produce wettable powders, which are then granulated. The methods include rotary granulation, extrusion granulation, high-speed mixing granulation, fluidized bed granulation, and compression granulation. Due to different granulation methods, their manufacturing conditions and product characteristics are also different. Extrusion granulation method
Squeezing granulation first produces ultrafine wettable powder, which is the same as the previous step of rotary granulation. Then, the wettable powder is mixed with a certain amount of water (or with a binder) and kneaded during kneading to produce a moldable material with a moisture content of 15%~20%. The material is then sent to an extrusion granulator for granulation, and the water dispersible granule product is obtained through drying and screening.
