Overview

The air bomb aging tester is suitable for conducting aging tests on wires and cables, rubber (plastic, synthetic leather) insulation layers and sheaths, as well as other polymer materials under specified pressure and temperature in media such as oxygen and compressed air. The instrument meets the requirements of GB/T2951.2-2008 national standard and VDE test standards in terms of structure and performance.

Product Details

1Air bomb aging testerField of expertise:

(1) K-WLKY is suitable for conducting aging tests on wires and cables, rubber (plastic, synthetic leather) insulation layers and sheaths, as well as other polymer materials in media such as oxygen and compressed air under specified pressure and temperature. Meets the requirements of GB/T2951.12-2008 (replacing GB/T2951.2-1997), UL, VDE and other standards.

(2) It mainly consists of an outer box, insulation layer, heater, constant temperature aluminum sleeve, stainless steel pressure tank, sample tray, overpressure automatic protection device, stainless steel tabletop, etc. Electrical control system: composed of intelligent P.I.D temperature controller (with automatic calculation function), high-precision PT100 thermocouple sensor and timer; Pressure control system: The pressure of compressed air or oxygen can be controlled through a pressure controller.

IIAir bomb aging testerSafety Notice:

Incorrect operation according to this manual may result in personal injury. Having safety devices to prevent personal injury, but these safety devices cannot replace personal responsibility during operation and maintenance. To prevent personal injury, it is necessary to read the following safety measures before performing any instrument operation.

3、 Strictly follow:

1. Always have safety awareness;

2. Before preparing to operate or repair this instrument, read all the contents of this manual;

3. Must be familiar with all safety features and warning texts;

4. Strictly operate and maintain this instrument in accordance with national safety regulations;

5. Ensure that all operators and maintenance personnel use and maintain this instrument safely;

6. Inspect safety devices daily to ensure their proper functioning.

4、 Instrument installation:

1. Connect the power supply and turn on the power switch of the testing machine.

2. Gas source preparation:

(1) Air bomb test: Connect compressed air to the air inlet of the testing machine (the instrument is equipped with a quick connector, simply plug in the air tube provided with the instrument).

(2) Oxygen bomb test: Connect one end of the oxygen tube (black) provided with the instrument to an oxygen cylinder with a pressure reducing valve, and directly insert the other end into the inlet of the testing machine.

Attention: If there is no oxygen pressure reducing valve, please slowly open the oxygen cylinder when opening the oxygen inflation. Inflate while observing!!

3. Sealing of test tank:

(1) The sealing of the test tank consists of three parts: explosion-proof safety device, safety blasting gas outlet, and sealing device with the test tank.

(2) Explosion proof safety device: using explosion-proof membrane direct pressure sealing, safe burst pressure: 2.7-3.3MP/C ㎡. There is a safe blasting gas outlet.

(3) Test tank sealing device: Use a cross shaped silicone ring for sealing. Attention: When tightening screws, it is recommended to tighten diagonally.

5、 Usage:

1. Connect the gas source correctly.

2. Connect the protective grounding wire, turn on the power switch, and check if the electrical control system is functioning properly.

3. Load the test sample into the sealed test chamber.

4. Turn off the exhaust switch.

5. Open the oxygen cylinder or air source switch, open the intake valve, and send in oxygen or air to observe the precise pressure expression to the test pressure (2.1MPa ± 0.07 for air bomb, 0.55MPa ± 0.02 for air bomb test). Close the intake valve and turn off the oxygen cylinder switch.

6. When conducting an air bomb test, a pressure of 0.48Mpa can be applied without heating. When the temperature rises to 127 ℃, the pressure value will be around 0.55Mpa. Similarly, when conducting an oxygen bomb test, a pressure of 1.8Mpa can be applied without heating. When the temperature rises to 70 ℃, the pressure value will be around 2.1Mpa, and the pressure can be adjusted through intake and exhaust.

7. Press the start button to start heating up and reach the test temperature (set at 70 ℃ by the factory, or set at 127 ℃ if using an air bomb). When the test time is up, the instrument will automatically stop heating (note: the timer works only when the test temperature reaches the set value). If the experiment needs to be stopped midway, press the stop switch.

8. Observe the precision pressure gauge and temperature control instrument to stabilize them within the specified range, and start recording the test time. After the experiment is completed, cut off the power and immediately reduce the pressure to atmospheric pressure within no less than 5 minutes, and remove the sample.
