1、 Overview

50KV/100KV voltage breakdown testerUsing computer control, complete the power frequency voltage breakdown and power frequency withstand voltage test of insulating dielectric materials. Suitable for testing the breakdown voltage, breakdown strength, and withstand voltage of solid insulation materials (such as insulation paints, resins and adhesives, impregnated fiber products, laminated products, mica and its products, plastics, film composite products, ceramics, and glass, etc.) under power frequency voltage. The instrument quickly and accurately collects, processes, accesses, displays, and prints various data during the experimental process.

3、 Safety instructions

1. 50KV/100KV voltage breakdown testerAs a high-voltage testing instrument, unskilled operators cannot use this equipment alone.

2. Power supply for this device/The casing should ensure good grounding.

3. Ensure a dry environment for the use of this device and reduce humidity to minimize the possibility of breakdown with surrounding conductors.

4. There is sufficient safety distance between the high-voltage output end of the transformer and the inner wall of the box to ensure that the equipment is well grounded and will not be electrocuted even if it touches the outer surface of the casing during the test.

5. Before opening the acrylic door panel of the device, a discharge rod should be used to discharge the high voltage end.

4、 Equipment composition

1. Boosting component: consisting of a regulator and a high-voltage transformer, it is a 0-50KV boosting part.

2. Moving parts: The voltage regulator is uniformly adjusted by a stepper motor to change the voltage applied to the high-voltage transformer.

3. Testing component: a measurement circuit composed of integrated circuits. Transmit the detected analog signal and switch signal to the computer through the signal line.

4. Computer software: The computer is equipped with a signal acquisition card, which transmits the measurement and control signals collected by the detection equipment to the computer. The computer controls the operation of the equipment and processes the test results based on the collected information.

5. Test electrode: According to the national standard (1408.1-2006), electrodes are provided with the equipment, with specifications of: Ø 25mm × 25mm; Ø 75mm × 25mm.

5、 Operation steps

1. Equipment installation: After receiving and unpacking the goods, the customer transports the equipment to a fixed location and then fixes the bottom casters of the equipment host. Place an office desk on the right side of the device host for placing a desktop computer.

Connect the device host to the computerAC220V power supplyConnect the data cable between the computer host and the display screen. Find two nine core white data cables in the accessory items and connect them to the right side of the device hostConnect the COM1 and COM2 ports to the corresponding COM1 and COM2 ports on the back of the computer host.

2. Test preparation: According to standardsGB/T1408 Preparation of samples with a flat surface and uniform thickness, the sample size should be larger than the cross-section of the test electrode. Connect the output end of the transformer to the upper electrode copper rod and the high-voltage tail to the lower electrode using two high-voltage connecting wires. Add transformer oil or silicone oil into the oil tank of the equipment host, and the oil level should not exceed the upper electrode (the oil tank is connected by acrylic adhesive to avoid moving with oil and mechanical impact). Then place the sample between the two electrodes, roughly centered. As shown in the figure below:

3. Open the software: First turn on the power switch of the air switch on the right side of the device, and then press the button on the panelThe 'Power' button powers up the device. Then open the computer and double-click on the software icon on the desktop to open it. As shown in the figure below:

As shown on the software homepage, this device can be used for communication/Testing of three modes of direct current. The operation methods and parameter settings for the six experiments are similar.

From left to right:

1. Infinite zoom in: Select the curve interface area with the left mouse button to zoom in locally

2. Magnify twice; 3. Reduce by two times; 4. Original size;

9. Display Value: After selection, a vertical line will appear on the interface, which can be left clicked and dragged. When it intersects with the data curve, the coordinate values of the intersection point will be displayed in the upper right corner

5. Single test process: After the preparation work for the test is completed, close the two acrylic doors to close the door sensing switch. Press the 'Voltage Preparation' button on the panel below.

Click on the software interface againClear Curve "clears the values and curves from the last experiment.

clickStart the experiment ", the real-time data area will display real-time values, and the curve area will dynamically generate the voltage time curve of the current experiment

When the sample breaks through, the software automatically pops up a reminder box, and the single test is completed

6. Repeated test: When the same specification material is subjected to multiple repeated tests, a new sample needs to be replaced after the previous sample breaks down.Before opening the acrylic door panel, it is necessary to rotate the plum blossom knob counterclockwise to make short-term contact between the discharge rod and the output terminal of the transformer, in order to eliminate residual electricity and ensure the safety of the operator.When replacing the sample, insulated gloves should be worn to ensure safety and prevent the test oil from coming into contact with the skin of the hands.

After the sample replacement is completed, close both acrylic doors. If the parameters do not need to be modified, the test can begin.

7. Data saving: The operation of saving data tables is required after the completion of the experiment or after the completion of five experiments.

sixPrecautions for use

1. During the experiment, unrelated personnel should not be allowed to approach, as this testing instrument can generate high voltage and untrained personnel cannot use the equipment. There should be a supervisor during the experiment, and it should not be used alone. Just in case of unexpected situations.

2. If the equipment is not used for a long time, when using it again, first let the instrument be unloaded and pressurized once, that is, remove the wiring of the high-voltage electrode from the pressure equalizing ball. Check the computer test interface to see if the high voltage is normal.

3. In case of unexpected situations during the experiment, the power should be cut off in a timely manner, and the problem should be resolved before continuing the experiment.

4. The equipment should be placed steadily and on a sturdy ground.It is best to use cement flooring to avoid resonance.

5. The casing of the device should be grounded with a protective earth wire during use, to ensure the safety of operators and equipment operation.

6After using the equipment, turn off the power supply of all parts of the system and do not plug or unplug power cords with power on.

7. Connect the equipment according to the prescribed power supply voltage. Ensure that the circuit wiring is correct. Otherwise, it will damage the equipment.

8The instrument should be placed indoors, and the laboratory should be clean, dry, and free of corrosive media. Non related personnel should not operate it casually.

9Do not let the device cable touch the sharp edge to avoid scratching the cable insulation; Do not let the cable be pressed under heavy objects to avoid breaking the cable and causing a fire; Do not use cables to pull objects or tie objects with cables to avoid breaking the cables and causing the equipment to malfunction.

10. Do not let the equipment come into contact with water, corrosive gases, flammable gases, and combustible materials. If not avoided, a fire may occur.

11. When moving equipment, cut off the power supply and unplug the plug from the socket. Do not lay down or tilt the equipment when moving it.

12. Do not plug or unplug the power plug of the device while it is running.

13. The control computer of this instrument is designed specifically for voltage breakdown testing machines. Please do not add or delete programs or use them for other purposes at will.
