Filtration is an indispensable treatment method in the process of water purification, used to intercept impurities in water, purify water quality, or protect the normal operation of other equipment in the system. Ordinary mesh filters are widely used in fields such as water source filtration and industrial circulating water systems due to their advantages of good filtration effect and low resistance. But there are disadvantages such as small capacity, easy blockage by dirt, and complex cleaning work. The filtering part can only be cleaned when the device is disassembled, and the status of the filter cannot be monitored. Moreover, it is greatly influenced by human factors, which results in a low level of automation for the entire system. The fully automatic self-cleaning filter has the functions of raw water filtration and automatic cleaning and drainage of filter elements. The system continuously supplies water during cleaning and drainage. Compared with previous filters, this device has the advantages of high automation, large processing capacity, self-cleaning and sewage discharge, uninterrupted water supply, and wide applicability.

IISelf cleaning processOverview

During the self-cleaning process, the filtered process water continues to flow. The exhaust valve is opened, and the driving device rotates two stainless steel brushes to sweep the inner surface of the cylindrical sieve. The particles trapped on the sieve are removed by a brush and discharged from the exhaust valve. Once the cleaning cycle begins, the exhaust valve will open and the suction scanner will be activated. Then drive the patented suction scanner with a slow fixed rotation mechanism, while linearly moving the scanner. The exhaust valve generates a high-speed suction flow at the nozzle tip, which cleans the inner surface when the suction scanner rotates on the screen.
