The water flows through the sieve, and the particles are trapped inside the sieve of the filter element. The filtered water then flows out from the outlet. When the particles accumulate to a certain amount and the pressure difference increases to a predetermined level, the flushing cycle begins. It consists of two steps: first, the automatic drain valve opens at the drain outlet. Then, the motor drives the cleaning brush inside the sieve, and the solid is discharged through the drainage valve. Even during the flushing cycle, the filter continues to supply filtered water.
