Structural characteristics
-Tank material: Usually made of SUS304 or 316L stainless steel, the inner surface is mirror polished to Ra0.4 μ m, and the outer surface can be treated with matte to meet hygiene standards. It is corrosion-resistant and easy to clean.
-Tank structure: The top of the tank is equipped with a manhole, inlet, CIP cleaning port, etc., and the bottom has a discharge port. The tank can be designed as a single layer, with insulation layer or jacket structure as needed. The jacket forms include full jacket, semi-circular coil jacket, etc., used for heating or cooling materials.
-Mixing device: Generally, a high shear emulsifying head is used, consisting of a high-speed rotating rotor and a fixed stator. The reducer can be selected as a worm gear horizontal reducer or a cycloidal pinwheel reducer, and the mixing speed can be adjusted according to the process requirements.
Working principle
When the emulsification tank is working, the high-speed rotation of the rotor generates centrifugal force, causing the slurry in the middle part of the rotor to be thrown out radially, and the slurry outside the working area to be simultaneously sucked into the working chamber from the upper and lower feeding areas of the working head through the axial direction. The slurry is subjected to centrifugal compression, impact and other forces in the gap between the stator and rotor, initially dispersing and emulsifying, and then forming strong hydraulic shear, tearing and collision at the outer end of the rotor, fully dispersing, emulsifying and crushing the slurry. After several cycles, the emulsification process is finally completed.
