Overview

MACH-1 is an instrument developed by Biomentum for testing the mechanical properties of materials. It is an integrated device that combines tensile, shear, friction, torsion, and 3D indentation mapping testing, greatly facilitating the scientific research work of researchers.

Product Details

At present, in many universities and research institutes, there is a problem of one test and one machine in most laboratories, which unnecessarily wastes research funds. When using multiple instruments, there may be many situations where the operation is not familiar or the efficiency is not high, resulting in the waste of valuable research practice. Bringing unnecessary trouble to scientific research.

Our MACH-1 can achieve various micro mechanical property tests, multi-scale (material small to large) tests, soft and hard multi material tests, multiple physical fields (multi force or electromechanical coupling) and their coupling tests, efficiently and quickly meeting testing requirements. Only one instrument is needed to achieve multiple functional tests.

--MACH-1 was developed by BIOMOMENTUM, a Canadian company. Since 1999, there have been nearly 1000 international journal articles related to this instrument.

--MACH-1 is a product on the market that can integrate functions such as compression, tension, lateral shear, friction, torsion, direct indentation testing of irregular surfaces, indentation testing, direct thickness testing of irregular surfaces, 3D surface graphic mapping, etc,

--The corresponding materials range from hard materials such as metals, plastics, and bones to thin films, extremely soft tissue materials such as brain tissue and corneas, and can be measured from coarse disc samples to extremely fine single fiber filaments.

--The mechanical properties that can be characterized include stiffness, strength, modulus, viscoelasticity, plasticity, hardness, adhesion, torsional force, and displacement.

--Can conduct static and dynamic mechanics testing and analysis.

--It can perform automatic indentation analysis on 96 well plates and can be tested in a constant temperature chamber.

--Normal indentation test on 3D irregular surfacesThe instrument is designed for curved surface samplesDevelopment testingtechnology

--It can test the microelectromechanical properties of organisms in a compressed state and measure charge transfer.

Main parameters:

--Maximum travel range: 250mm, rotating the T axis 360 degrees.

--Axis displacement accuracy: 0.1um, T rotation axis accuracy 0.0005 degrees.

--Measurement range: 0-250N

--Sensor accuracy: 0.2% of nominal accuracy, available in multiple sensor specifications, with a minimum accuracy of 0.005mN

--The equipped software includes image mapping tools and image analysis software, multi axis mechanics testing and analysis software, 3D indentation testing and analysis software (elastic model), lateral compression and non lateral compression testing and analysis software (porous elasticity), testing software for microelectromechanical systems under applied forces, etc.
