The BDC Lab has launchedHeart valve pulsatile flow simulatorThe HDTi-6000 meets all the requirements of the ISO5840 standard for pulsating fluid dynamics performance testing in a centralized and efficient manner, and has a fully integrated high-speed video analysis system that can achieve real-time visual analysis and testing of heart valves during the testing process. Through the mature and reliable dual chamber structure design of BDC, HDTi-6000 can be easily set up for performance testing of aortic valve, mitral valve, pulmonary valve or tricuspid valve. Through innovative sample clamping components, operators can easily and quickly replace valve samples without leaking liquid from the system.

High speed image processing integration capability

HDTi-6000 can accommodate up to 5 high-speed cameras and integrate them into Statys@HDTI In the software, it is possible to simultaneously record the inflow and outflow of thin film samples, as well as the real-time synchronization status of each leaflet under specific pressure and flow pulsation conditions. After each test, relevant test parameters required by ISO 5840 can be obtained through waveform analysis, and leaflet dynamics performance can be evaluated through image analysis. The software backtracking function allows operators to synchronize the display of pressure and flow curves during high-speed video playback, which helps evaluate the comprehensive performance of valve samples at any time point during the heart beat cycle.

Statys ® The HDTi testing software provides a fully integrated solution for data acquisition of pressure/flow waveforms and high-speed videos in the HDTi-6000 system, analyzing these waveforms and videos, and generating and outputting formal reports after each test. Statys ® The real advantage of HDTi lies in its ability to achieve complex functions and analytical calculations while ensuring user-friendly and easy-to-use interface.

Repeatability and reproducibility

The mature and reliable PD-1100 pulsatile pump from BDC is the fluid drive source for the HDTi-6000 heart valve pulsatile flow simulator, which can achieve high repeatability, reproducibility, and dynamic configurable characteristics. HDTi-6000 can generate sine waves or user-defined driving waveforms under high flow rates of 10 liters per minute and heart rates of 240 beats per minute, enabling accurate cardiovascular flow simulation, covering various testing scenarios and different valve positions.
