The Rexroth M-3SEW10C1X/420MG24N9K4/P magnetic driven electromagnetic directional ball valve is a directional seat valve with electromagnetic starting. It controls the start, stop, and direction of the fluid. The valve is mainly composed of a housing, a coil, a reinforced valve body structure, and a closing element valve core. Basic principles; At the initial position, the valve core is pressed into the valve seat by a spring, and at the valve core position, it is pressed into the valve seat by a coil. The force of the coil is applied to the valve core sealed on both sides through the inclined handle and ball.

The two position three-way directional seat valve has a 'negative cover' feature. Therefore, it is necessary to always connect the oil port T. This means that during the switching process (from opening one valve seat to closing the other), the oil ports P-A-T are interconnected. But this process can be completed in a very short time, so it is irrelevant in almost all applications.

Manual emergency operation allows switching valves without energizing the coil.

Initial position

Do not operate the main valve. The spring (9) holds the ball (4) on the valve seat (11). Port P is blocked, and port A is connected to port T. In addition, a pilot line connects A to a larger area of the control spool (12), allowing for unloading to the fuel tank. The pressure applied through P will push the ball (13) onto the valve seat (14). P is now connected to B, and A is connected to T.

Transition position

When operating the main valve, the valve core (8) moves against the spring (9) and is pressed into the valve seat (15). During this process, the oil port T will be closed, and P, A, and B will be briefly connected together. Valve core position 0

P is connected to A. Due to the pump pressure acting on a larger area of the control spool (12) through A, the ball (13) is pressed into the valve seat (16). Therefore, B is connected to T, and P is connected to A. The ball (13) in the Plus-1 plate has a 'positive cover'.
