High temperature and humidity meterMain application scenarios
This humidity measuring instrument is suitable for measuring the humidity of high-temperature humidity meters in high-temperature atmospheres, and can be widely used for humidity measurement and control in printing and dyeing, steaming, drying, tobacco, wood, and paper industries; Humidity measurement and control in the fields of chemical, pharmaceutical, fiber, and textile industries; Humidity measurement and control of tobacco and vegetables. At the same time, this humidity meter can also be used for humidity measurement in combustion environments, and can be applied for humidity measurement in ceramic drying furnaces and welding rod drying furnaces.
Characteristics of high temperature and humidity sensor
1. Using current German sensors, it is suitable for use in environments ranging from 0-500 ℃ and can directly measure water vapor concentration, while other humidity sensors use indirect estimation, which can result in significant deviations due to slight changes in conditions.
2. Fast response speed, which is equivalent to the standard wet dry testing method;
3、 Selection of humidity measurement scheme
There are two main modern humidity measurement methods: wet bulb measurement and high-temperature hygrometer measurement. Below, we will compare these two solutions to help customers choose the humidity measurement method that suits them best. The maintenance of the wet bulb measurement method is quite simple. In practical use, it is only necessary to regularly add water to the wet bulb and replace the wet bulb gauze. Compared with high-temperature hygrometers, the wet dry bulb method does not cause aging or decreased accuracy. So the dry wet bulb moisture measurement method is more suitable for use in high temperature and harsh environments.
Characteristics of high temperature and humidity meter:
High temperature and humidity meters have only rapidly developed in recent decades, especially in the past 20 years. Humidity sensor manufacturers use standard humidity generators to calibrate each product before they leave the factory. The accuracy of high-temperature humidity meters can reach 2% to 3% RH. In practical use, due to the influence of dust, oil, and harmful gases, aging and decreased accuracy will occur over time. The annual drift of humidity sensors is generally around ± 2% or even higher. In general, manufacturers will indicate that the effective usage time for one calibration is 1 or 2 years, and recalibration is required upon expiration. The accuracy level of a high-temperature hygrometer should be judged based on its long-term stability. Generally speaking, the long-term stability and service life of a high-temperature hygrometer are not as good as that of a dry wet bulb humidity sensor. Humidity sensors use semiconductor technology, so there are requirements for the ambient temperature of use. Exceeding the specified usage temperature will cause damage to the sensor. So the method of measuring humidity with a high-temperature hygrometer is more suitable for use in clean and room temperature environments.
