The complete MTS Advantage series includes necessary lenses, processors, and software, featuring fast, flexible, and high-precision characteristics, suitable for non-contact strain measurement tasks in various material mechanical property testing processes. The extensometer collects displacement data on the surface of the test piece, which is processed by the MTS TestSuiteTM TW testing application software to calculate the strain data and elastic modulus of the sample.

More than ten different specifications and interchangeable lenses can be selected, with each lens corresponding to a pre-defined extensometer measurement gauge. By selecting the appropriate lens according to the testing requirements, the measurement of the corresponding gauge length and strain measurement range can be achieved. In different material testing tasks, different parameters such as Poisson's ratio, Young's modulus, R value, etc. can be quickly obtained, and can also be used for mechanical testing applications of materials with high ductility.
