Mercury thermometer operation:

Installation: Insert the thermometer vertically into the measurement target, ensuring that it is immersed in liquid or gas and there are no air bubbles present.
Observation: After waiting for a period of time for the mercury column to stabilize, the temperature value on the scale can be read. Note that the top of the mercury column should be read at the same horizontal position as the eyes to avoid parallax errors.
Cleaning: It should be cleaned promptly after use. You can gently wipe the shell and dial with a soft cloth, being careful not to splash mercury.

Safe operation: Mercury is a toxic substance, and relevant safety regulations should be followed when using it to avoid contact with mercury and swallowing or inhaling it into the body.
Avoid thermal expansion: Expansion occurs at high temperatures, so it is important to avoid the impact of thermal expansion of the measuring device on the measurement results when measuring high temperatures.
Preventing vibration and collision: It is a precision instrument that avoids violent vibration and collision to prevent damage.
Storage precautions: When storing, be careful to avoid the influence of moisture, high temperature, and corrosive gases to ensure its long-term accuracy and reliability.
Avoid excessive measurement range: The measurement range is limited and not suitable for measuring temperatures that are too high or too low. Measurement beyond the range will result in inaccurate results or damage to the thermometer.
