The electric ball valve has a conical porous basket shaped portion, which is used to support the matching diaphragm. The valve is installed between two flanges or pipe joints on the pipeline. Lift the diaphragm from its valve seat through a conical fluid medium, and then the medium passes through. When the downstream flow stops, the diaphragm will return to its original shape and close very quickly.

It is worth mentioning that it is used as a purification gas pipeline for processing slurry and colloidal media. In this way, the diaphragm exhibits high operational reliability, and if other valves are used, it will wear out quickly. Electric ball valves use corrugated ring rubber diaphragms. After the valve is closed, the corrugated edge of the diaphragm will be inserted into the center of the medium channel.

The downstream medium opens the pleated diaphragm, causing the edge of the diaphragm to retract from the valve seat. Due to the elastic tension of the diaphragm in the open position and the very short displacement of the diaphragm edge from the open to the closed position, the diaphragm electric ball valve closes very quickly. This diaphragm type electric ball valve is more suitable for various medium flow rates.
