Principle of Roots vacuum pump:

Roots pump is a vacuum pump without internal compression. Usually, the compression ratio is very low, so high vacuum pumps and medium vacuum pumps require a front-end pump. A vacuum pump that achieves pumping by synchronously and counter rotating gas inside the pump chamber through the squeezing action of a pair of blade shaped rotors. Roots vacuum pump is a mechanical vacuum pump with a pair of synchronous high-speed rotating sole shaped rotors. The pump cannot pump separately. The front desk needs to be equipped with oil seals, water rings, etc.
