ZGF-400kV/2mA DC High Voltage GeneratorOperation process:
(1) Connect the test sample between the high-voltage output terminal and the ground terminal.
(2) Plug in the power cord, turn on the power switch, the "High Voltage Off" indicator light (green) lights up, and the "High Voltage On" indicator light (red) goes out; The voltage display meter, current display meter, and 0.75 times voltage display meter all show zero values.
(3) Turn the voltage and current setting knob clockwise to the end, and turn the voltage adjustment knob counterclockwise to the zero position. (Note: The voltage adjustment knob is not in the zero position and cannot activate the "high voltage close" button)
(4)Lightly press the "High Voltage Close" button, and the "High Voltage Close" indicator light (red) will turn on. Slowly adjust the voltage adjustment knob to the desired voltage value for testing. During testing, the voltage display table indicates the test voltage value in kV; 0.75 times the voltage display table 11 indicates 75% of the test voltage value in kV; current display table 7 indicates the test current value in uA.
(5) During the testing process of the test sample, pressing the 0.75 times voltage display latch button will lock the display value of the 0.75 times voltage display meter, making it inconvenient to maintain the display value. This makes it easy to use as a reference voltage when conducting zinc oxide lightning arrester tests.
(6) Pressing the timed on button at any time will activate the time relay. When the timer reaches the preset time, the buzzer will sound an alarm and cut off the high-voltage output.
(7) During the experiment, if the load current exceeds 0-10% of the rated output current of the instrument, the "overcurrent" indicator light will turn on, providing overcurrent protection to prevent damage to the test sample and instrument.
(8) During the experiment, if the test voltage exceeds 0-10% of the rated output voltage of the instrument, the "overvoltage" indicator light will turn on to provide over protection and prevent damage to the test sample and instrument.
(9)After the experiment is completed, turn the voltage adjustment knob counterclockwise to the zero position, and the voltage display meter slowly returns to the zero position. When the three display meters show zero, lightly press the "High Voltage Off" button. At this time, the "High Voltage On" indicator light (red) will turn off and the "High Voltage Off" indicator light (green) will turn on. Then turn off the power switch.
(10) When the capacitance of the test sample is large, if the voltage adjustment knob is turned to zero and the output voltage display meter cannot return to zero for a long time, press the "high voltage division" button first, and then turn off the device. Then use a discharge rod to discharge the test sample, and remove the wiring of the test sample.
