Divided into three types of sensors;

LIPS - Linear Induction Position Sensor

RIPS - Rotary Inductive Position Sensor

TIPS - Tilt Sensing Position Sensor

Within the range of linear position sensors, using high-frequency coils as displacement sensor sensing elements can achieve much fewer coil turns than those used on LVDTs, thereby improving the stroke to total length ratio and significantly enhancing durability. The durability of linear sensors is further improved by encapsulating electronic components within a metal casing processed by CNC machining.

Rotary displacement sensors use the same electronic components as linear sensors, but in linear sensors, printed circuit coils are used instead of wound coils. Similar to the design of RVDT, Positek rotary displacement sensors also adopt the high-frequency coil design of Positek linear sensors, making the coil structure simple and compact, which makes the current Positek rotary sensor products more compact than competitor models.
