I. Overview

XOUV-III type ultraviolet radiation analyzerIt is a versatile 254nm ultraviolet radiation system primarily used for crosslinking nucleic acids onto membranes. It can also be used for DNA cutting in agar gel, RecA mutation screening, partial restriction endonuclease digestion produced by thymic dimer, and UV sterilization to eliminate PCR pollution. It also has applications in UV sterilization, polymer UV treatment, and other fields.

2、 Instrument features:

To fix the nucleotide on the membrane, the traditional method is to place the membrane in a vacuum oven at 80 ° C for 2 hours, and then irradiate it with 254nm ultraviolet light for a few seconds on a spectrophotometer.

UV irradiation can increase the hybridization signal by 5-10 times compared to traditional baking methods. Due to the configuration of a UV energy programming system (Joules/cm2) in the UV diplomatic instrument, the time integrator continuously detects the irradiation of ultraviolet light.

When the energy absorption value reaches the set value, the irradiation will automatically stop. So regardless of the strength of the ultraviolet light source or the time difference, the irradiation cycle has good repeatability.
