Overview

The host of the Omnilog microbial identification instrument consists of a controllable temperature cultivation chamber and a programmable graphic capture system. The graphic capture card in the computer captures images of the bottom of the microplate through the camera in the host, and the software performs digital analysis on the colors in each microplate, automatically determining the results.

Product Details

Introduction to Microbial Identification Device:

This microbiological analyzer is based on the cooperation between Nanjing Xianou and BIOLOG. Biolog authorizes Nanjing Xianou to produce in Chinese MainlandOmnilog Microbial Identification DeviceSystem hardware. Nanjing Xianou ensures the stable performance and convenient operation of hardware equipment with its craftsmanship and excellent materials. At the same time, the system is equipped with BIOLOG original intelligent analysis software, which can deeply analyze the data collected by hardware, provide accurate and reliable analysis results, and fully integrate the technical advantages of both parties.

Host parameters:

The host consists of a controllable temperature cultivation chamber and a programmable graphics capture system. The graphics capture card in the computer captures images of the bottom of the microplate through the camera in the host. The software digitally analyzes the colors in each microplate and automatically determines the results

Omnilog Microbial Identification DeviceTechnical parameters:

Identification principle: The principle of carbon source utilization utilizes the differences in metabolic rates of microorganisms towards different carbon sources. By detecting the color changes caused by the reaction between NADH and chromogenic substances produced during the metabolic process of microbial cells using different carbon sources, and comparing it with a standard database, the final identification result can be obtained.

The database has a capacity of over 2900 taxa, including four major categories of databases. Among them, the Gen III aerobic bacteria database contains 1568 species (800 Gram negative aerobic bacteria and 768 Gram positive aerobic bacteria). Other optional databases include 361 anaerobic bacteria, 267 yeast, and 710 filamentous bacteria. It covers almost all common human, animal, plant pathogens, as well as food, drug, and environmental microorganisms.

The database of filamentous fungi (FF) can automatically identify 708 species of filamentous fungi, including common penicillium (153 species), Aspergillus (89 species), Colletotrichum (18 species), Fusarium (79 species), Trichoderma, and other species in clinical, industrial, agricultural, and environmental settings. To combine with traditional fungal morphological identification, BIOLOG provides nearly 1000 exquisite macroscopic and microscopic images for users to refer to and compare, in order to obtain more accurate results.

We provide a large database of common pathogenic bacteria in the food, cosmetics, and pharmaceutical industries, including Salmonella (15 species), Listeria (7 species), Escherichia coli (8 species, including Escherichia coli and E. coli O157: H7), Staphylococcus (43 aerobic and 2 anaerobic), Campylobacter, Pseudomonas (52 species), Vibrio (23 species), Clostridium (60 species), Shigella (4 species), Yersinia (11 species), Streptococcus (61 species, including Streptococcus suis), and Burkholderia (32 species). These bacteria are used in the identification of pathogenic microorganisms in the food, pharmaceutical, and cosmetics industries, industrial microbial research, quality control, and product development.

In terms of identifying plant pathogens, a total of 258 common plant pathogens can be identified, such as Pseudomonas (130 species), Burkholderia (13 species), Xanthomonas (81 species), Pectin Bacteroides (14 species), Acinetobacter (7 species), Bacillus brevis (5 species), Rhizobium (4 species), Erwinia amyloliquefaciens, hundreds of plant pathogenic bacteria and hundreds of plant pathogenic fungi.

Can identify 23 types of Mycobacterium

22 species of actinomycetes can be identified, including 8 Gram positive aerobic actinomycetes and 14 anaerobic actinomycetes.

Aerobic bacteria identification plate does not require pre testing such as Gram staining, oxidase, and trisaccharide iron. The cultured pure strain bacterial suspension can be quantitatively inoculated onto the identification plate.

Can generate user-defined databases.

Capable of conducting microbial community analysis and ecological research, with 31 carbon sources per board, capable of producing 3 parallel groups.

Identification time: bacteria 2-22 hours, yeast 24-72 hours, mold 3-7 days.

The system identification steps are simple. For aerobic bacteria identification, the machine automatically scans the identification board, the software automatically provides the results, and realizes the direct output of the identification report. It can be formed into PDF electronic text or printed text directly.
