Safety Precautions

1. During on-site testing, operations should be carried out in accordance with the safety distance standards for high-voltage testing set by the power department.
2. The standard configuration is an insulated pole of 3 meters, corresponding to a voltage level of ≤ 220kV. If the measured line voltage is higher than 220kV, please use an insulated pole with a length greater than 3 meters.

Attention: The transmitter uses a 3.7V rechargeable lithium battery, please do not replace other batteries.

Instrument self checking method

The transmitter is connected to the self-test test line, the transmitter starts, the buzzer sounds, and the red and green indicator lights alternate flashing. The receiving host is turned on and the corresponding transmitter information is displayed on the measurement interface. Both the transmitter and the host are working normally, as shown in the following figure:

Hint:
(1) It is advisable for the distance between the two transmitters and the receiving host to be greater than 0.5 meters during self inspection. When the distance is less than 0.2 meters, only one transmitter may be connected while the host displays information from two transmitters. This phenomenon is normal and does not affect the use of the instrument. When both transmitters are powered on, the instrument display is not affected by short distances.
(2) There is a 2M resistor in the internal string of the self checking test line, and during testing, people who come into contact with the crocodile clip will not be electrocuted.
(3) When the self check test phase difference is about 180 degrees, reversing any self check line plug will result in a phase difference of about 0 degrees, and vice versa.

working principle

When measuring phase sequence, use X transmitter, Y transmitter, Z transmitter, and receiving host. Three transmitters send back the phase and frequency signals of their respective lines to the receiving host. The receiving host calculates the phase difference between each pair of three lines and determines the phase sequence.
Only use X transmitter, Y transmitter, and receiver host during close range nuclear phase. Two transmitters send back the phase and frequency signals of their respective lines to the receiving host. Calculate the phase difference between two lines by the receiving host to determine if they are in phase.

3. The measurement range for cross voltage is 5V to 220kV.
4. The transmission line of sight for the transmitter and receiver is about 100 meters.
5. The 3.2-inch color screen displays the phase difference, frequency, vector diagram, and same or different phase results of two lines simultaneously.
6. Phase sequence result judgment: X leads Y120 °, Y leads Z120 °, Z leads X120 ° in sequence; X lags Y120 °, Y lags Z120 °, and Z lags X120 ° in reverse order.
7. Nuclear phase result judgment: phase difference ≥ 30 ° is out of phase, and phase difference ＜ 30 ° is in phase.

9. The host displays the battery level and automatically shuts down after 1 hour of inactivity.
10. The host is equipped with an 18650 lithium battery with a capacity of 2500mAH. The transmitter is equipped with a 10440 lithium battery with a capacity of 450mAH.
11. Leakage current during high voltage measurement is less than 10uA.
12. The working power consumption of the transmitter is less than 0.1W, and the working power consumption of the receiving host is less than 0.4W.
