WQ submersible sewage pump is a pump product designed specifically for transporting solid-liquid mixed liquids containing solid particles and fibers. It is widely used in chemical, municipal sewage treatment, public facility sewage discharge and other scenarios. The pump adopts large channel anti clogging hydraulic components, which can pass through fiber material with a diameter of 5 times the pump diameter and solid particles with a diameter of about 50%. The mechanical seal uses hard and corrosion-resistant tungsten carbide material. The equipment is equipped with a fully automatic safety protection control cabinet and float switch, supporting dual rail automatic coupling installation, and meets the GB/T 24674-2021 standard and GB 32031-2022 first level energy efficiency requirements. ‌‌

Structure composition and working principle

Core structural design: The WQ submersible sewage pump adopts a coaxial rotating structure between the pump and the motor, and works underwater as a whole. The sealing system can effectively prevent liquid from entering the motor chamber. The impeller is designed in the form of a single or double channel, similar to a curved pipe with the same cross-sectional size, and is matched with a volute chamber to achieve high efficiency and flowability. It has also undergone dynamic and static balance tests to reduce vibration. ‌

Sealing and cooling system: The mechanical seal adopts a double channel series connection or corrugated tube double end face structure, and the material includes tungsten carbide, silicon carbide, and hard alloy, ensuring the safe and continuous operation of the pump for more than 8000 hours. For pump types above 18.5KW, a water jacket external circulation cooling system is usually used to ensure safe operation of the electric pump at low water levels. ‌‌

Protection and control system: The sealed oil chamber is equipped with a water leakage detection sensor, and a thermal sensitive element is embedded in the stator winding. It can be equipped with a fully automatic safety protection control cabinet to alarm and shut down for faults such as water leakage, electric leakage, overload, and overheating. The float switch can automatically control the start and stop of the pump according to changes in liquid level, achieving unattended operation. ‌

Model specifications and performance parameters

Model naming convention: Taking 'QW50-15-15-1.5' as an example, Q represents diving, W represents sewage, 50mm represents outlet diameter, 15 represents flow rate (m ³/h), 15m represents head, and 1.5 represents motor power (kW). In some models such as' 100WQ80-10-4 ', 100 represents the outlet diameter, 80 represents the flow rate, 10 represents the head, and 4 represents the matching power. ‌

Main performance range:

Flow rate and head: The common range of flow rate is 4-2800 m ³/h, and some models can reach 50-11000 m ³/h; The common range of lift is 7-130 meters, with some models ranging from 5-110 meters

Caliber and power: The common discharge diameter is 50-600 mm, and the matching power range ranges from 0.75 kW to 900 kW. ‌

Medium adaptability: The solid particle diameter that can pass through is about 20mm to 145mm, and the medium density is ≤ 1050 kg/m ³. ‌

Selection reference: Different application scenarios require matching models with different calibers and powers. Fixed installation requires confirmation of the length of the guide rail, while mobile installation is suitable for river management and other occasions.

Usage conditions and maintenance suggestions

Operating environment requirements: The temperature of the conveying medium generally does not exceed 60 ℃, the pH value is within the range of 5-9, and the medium density is 1.0-1.3kg/dm ³. The rated voltage of the motor is usually 380V, and the frequency is 50HZ three-phase AC power supply. The cast iron material version is not suitable for pumping highly corrosive liquids. ‌

Installation method selection: There are mainly two types: fixed automatic coupling installation and mobile free installation. The fixed type is quickly installed and maintained through a dual rail automatic coupling system, while the mobile type is suitable for temporary drainage or sludge pumping. ‌

Maintenance cycle: Under normal conditions, the oil in the oil chamber should be refilled or replaced every 300-500 hours of use. After the pump has been running for 3000 hours, it needs to be disassembled for inspection and maintenance, and vulnerable parts should be replaced if necessary. When using, the pump should not be operated in a low head state for a long time to prevent overloading and motor damage, and the cable should not be lifted or the water pump suspended. ‌
