Measuring principle

Ultrasonic mud water interface measurement is carried out by an ultrasonic sensor installed in water, which emits a beam of ultrasonic pulses to the surface of the underwater mud. This pulse signal is reflected back when it encounters the mud surface and can be received by the sensor again; The time from ultrasonic emission to re reception is proportional to the distance from the sensor to the surface of the object being measured; The instrument detects the time and calculates the distance (i.e. spatial distance) from the surface of the object being measured to the sensor based on the current temperature (measured by the sensor) and underwater sound velocity, and further converts it to the liquid level value.
