Overview
Ultrasonic flat indium coating machine, also known as target welding machine, is a traditional technique for coating indium on metal and non-metal surfaces such as copper plates, ITO glass, and silicon dioxide. The disadvantages of manual indium coating are very obvious: 1. Uneven indium coating, which can lead to poor performance of the coated material; 2. Due to the manual scraping method used, the indium coating may not be firm and is prone to detachment; 3. The efficiency of manual scraping and coating is very low, and it consumes a lot of manual labor; 4. Due to control or other reasons, indium metal may be wasted. And our ultrasonic technology has effectively solved these problems.

Ultrasonic coatingplaneIndium machineIntroduction:

Planar ultrasonic indium coating machineAlso known as target welding machine, the traditional technique of coating indium on metal and non-metal surfaces such as copper plates, ITO glass, silicon dioxide, etc. is manual coating of indium. However, the disadvantages of manual coating of indium are very obvious: 1. Uneven indium coating can lead to poor performance of the coated material; 2. Mainly used for surface coating of flat surfaces, inner holes, and outer circles, replacing the outdated technology of manual scraping in the past.

ultrasonic waveplaneIndium coating machineThe principle:

The ultrasonic generator converts current into high-frequency electrical energy. The converted high-frequency electrical energy is converted back into mechanical motion of the same frequency through a transducer, and then the mechanical motion is transmitted to the welding area through a set of amplitude changing rod devices. High frequency vibration can effectively eliminate microbubbles in the welding area, allowing the target material to enter the microcavities occupied by these microbubbles, achieving welding without the use of flux. Ultrasonic waves generate high-frequency vibrations of tens of thousands of times per second. These vibrations reach a certain amplitude and are transmitted to the welding area through a variable amplitude pole. The high-frequency vibrations allow the microbubbles in the welding area to be expelled, while the target material enters the microcavities occupied by these microbubbles, firmly binding the target material to the substrate and achieving welding without the use of flux.

ultrasonic waveplaneIndium coating machineAdvantages:

◆ Do not use soldering flux

Flux will generate microbubbles inside the soldering process, which can cause soldering defects such as cracks over time. Ultrasonic technology does not use flux during the welding process, so it will not cause progressive corrosion due to residual flux in the welding area.

◆ Environmentally friendly welding solution

Ultrasonic welding technology does not use soldering flux, so there is no need for gas emission facilities and wastewater treatment facilities to treat harmful gases generated by soldering flux.

The coating is firm and will not peel off.

The coating is uniform, without blind spots or ripples.

◆ Reduce production costs

Save indium metal, the indium coating can be controlled within 0.02mm.

◆ Improve production efficiency

Applying a 1500 * 190mm copper plate only takes 15 minutes (with 2 vibrations). Applying ITO glass with an area of 50 * 50mm only takes 1 minute (vibration 3 times). And productivity can be improved by simplifying the welding process.

Assist in developing new products

Glass, ceramics, and aluminum materials that are difficult to weld cannot be welded using traditional flux welding methods. However, ultrasonic technology can be used to bond materials that are difficult to weld and develop new products. New materials can also be developed by welding different materials such as aluminum copper, copper glass, aluminum ceramics, etc.
